Removal Procedure
- Siphon brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.
- Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to
Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
in Tires
and Wheels.
- Clean any dirt and foreign material from the hose and fittings.
- Remove the rear brake hose from the rear brake pipe.
- Remove the rear brake hose from the rear wheel cylinder brake
pipe.
- Remove the rear brake hose retaining clips and the rear brake
hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the rear brake hose. Secure with the rear brake hose retaining
clips.
- Install the rear brake hose to the rear wheel cylinder brake pipe.
- Install the rear brake hose to the rear brake pipe.
- Bleed the brake system.

- Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to

- Lower the vehicle.
