Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support the hood.
- Remove the hood hold-open rod (1) from the retaining clips (2).
- Rotate the hold-open rod (1) from the normal rest position 90 degrees counterclockwise.
- Pull forward and remove the hold-open rod (1) from the pivot clip (2).
Installation Procedure
- Install the hold-open rod (1) to the pivot clip (2).
- Push in and rotate the rod (1) 90 degrees clockwise.
- Install the hold-open rod (1) into the retaining clips (2).
- Lower the hood.
