Window Guide Channel Replacement - Center Rear Door

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 626973  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Loosen the rubber window run channel along the center guide channel (3).
  3. Loosen the rear door weatherstrip in order to access the center guide channel screw (1).
  4. Remove the screw (1) that retains the center guide channel (3).

  6. Remove the following components from the rear door (4):
  7. • The 2 bolts (1, 3)
    • The center guide channel (2)

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 626976  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the center guide channel (2) to the rear door (4). Secure the guide channel with the 2 bolts (1, 3) and the screw.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the center guide channel bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Install the rubber window run channel into the center guide channel (3).
  4. Reposition the rear door weatherstrip to the door (2).
  5. Install the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
