Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 242388 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  2. Remove the following components from the rear door:
    3. • The 4 retaining bolts (1)
    • The rear side door window regulator (3)

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 242390 Size: SH
  1. Apply a multipurpose grease to all lubrication and sliding points.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Slide the regulator arm roller (2) into the window bottom channel (1). Secure the regulator with the 4 bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the regulator bolts (3) to 5.5 N·m (49 lb in) and the regulator bolt (4) to 5.0 N·m (43 lb in).

  3. Install the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
