Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 405088  Size: SH
  1. Remove the child seat cushion. Refer to Child Seat Pad Replacement .
  2. Remove the 2 upper bolts (1) which secure the child seat (2) to the rear seat back cushion (3).

  3. Object Number: 405800  Size: SH
  4. Remove the 2 lower bolts (1) which secure the child seat (2) to the rear seat back cushion.
  5. Remove the child seat (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 405800  Size: SH
  1. Install the child seat to the rear seat back cushion. Secure the child seat (2) with the 2 lower bolts (1).

  2. Object Number: 405088  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the 2 upper bolts (1) which secure the child seat (2) to the seat back cushion (3).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the 4 child seat bolts to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  5. Install the child seat cushion. Refer to Child Seat Pad Replacement .
