Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 241533 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the side impact inflatable restraint module wiring harness (2) from the seat cushion (1), if equipped.

    3. Object Number: 431993 Size: SH
  3. Remove the following components from the front seat adjusters:
    4. • The 4 bolts (2)
    • The seat cushion (1)

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 431993 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the seat cushion (1) to the front seat adjusters. Secure the cushion with the 4 bolts (2).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the seat cushion bolts to 21 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Install the side impact inflatable restraint module wiring harness (2) to the seat cushion (1), if equipped.
  3. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
