Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2001 🢒 Prizm 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 1.8L 🢒 Oil Pump Disassemble
  1. Remove the 3 oil pump cover screws and remove the oil pump cover.
  2. Remove the oil pump drive gear and the driven gear from the oil pump.

    3. Object Number: 236050 Size: SH

    Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

  3. Apply light air pressure to the oil jet. Inspect the oil jet for damage or clogging.

    4. Object Number: 236052 Size: SH
  4. Remove and inspect the relief valve. Coat the relief valve with oil and check that it falls smoothly into the valve hole by its own weight.
