Inspection Procedure
- Inspect the following areas:
| • | Three-way catalytic converters |
- Inspect the exhaust system for the following conditions:
| • | Corrosion that would cause a leak |
- Inspect the following components:
- Inspect the exhaust system for cracks. Inspect the connections
for stripped bolt heads. Inspect the fasteners for rusted bolt threads.
- The exhaust system, including the heat shields, must be free of
the following conditions:
- If any of these conditions exist, check the exhaust system component
alignment. Align as necessary. Replace as necessary.
