Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Turn the drain cock counterclockwise until the metal pin on the drain cock is aligned with the opening slot.
- Pull the drain cock straight out of the radiator.
Installation Procedure
- Align the metal pin on the drain cock with the opening slot on the radiator.
- Push the drain cock into the radiator slot.
- Turn the drain cock clockwise until fully seated.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
