Go to Exterior Lights System Check

1. Disconnect the inoperative bulb.
2. Inspect the bulb.
3. Repeat this test as needed for each inoperative bulb.

Is the bulb open?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the bulb.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Connect a test lamp between the BLK wire at the lamp socket and battery B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair the open in BLK wire.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

--

1. For pickup models, connect a test lamp between the cavity A at the lamp socket and ground.
2. For utility models, connect a test lamp between the cavity C at the lamp socket and ground.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
4. Select the appropriate direction on the turn signal switch.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 8

Replace the bulb.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Locate and repair the open in the lamp feed circuit.
