Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the PCM. Refer to Powertrain Control Module Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
  3. Drain the washer solvent from the washer solvent container.

  5. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector.
  6. Disconnect the washer hose from the washer pump.

  7. Object Number: 697668  Size: SH
  8. Using a small flat-bladed tool, remove the washer pump from the washer solvent container.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 697668  Size: SH
  1. Position the washer pump to the washer solvent container pressing in until fully seated.

  2. Object Number: 697664  Size: SH
  3. Connect the washer hose to the washer pump.
  4. Connect the washer pump electrical connector.
  5. Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
  6. Install the PCM. Refer to Powertrain Control Module Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
  7. Close the hood.
