Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2003 🢒 SSR 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console 🢒 Radio Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the left I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the center I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

    4. Object Number: 1332988 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fasteners securing the radio to the I/P.
  5. Partially remove the radio from the I/P.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  7. Disconnect the radio antenna coax cable.
  8. Remove the radio.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1332988 Size: SH
  1. Connect the radio antenna coax cable.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Position the radio onto the I/P.
  4. Install the fasteners securing the radio to the I/P.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Remove the center I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  6. Remove the left I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  7. Remove the right I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
