Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the left I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the center I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

  4. Object Number: 1332988  Size: SH
  5. Remove the fasteners securing the radio to the I/P.
  6. Partially remove the radio from the I/P.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  8. Disconnect the radio antenna coax cable.
  9. Remove the radio.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1332988  Size: SH
  1. Connect the radio antenna coax cable.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Position the radio onto the I/P.
  5. Install the fasteners securing the radio to the I/P.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  7. Remove the center I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  8. Remove the left I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  9. Remove the right I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
