Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Retained Accessory Power (RAP)?

Go to Step 2

  1. Close the driver and passenger doors.
  2. Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.
  3. Turn the ignition OFF.

Do the RAP functions operate for approximately 10 minutes?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

  1. Observe the power mode with a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. Turn OFF the ignition.

Is the power mode RAP for approximately 10 minutes?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Entertainment System in Entertainment.

Go to Step 4

Observe the door switches with a scan tool.

Does the scan tool indicate that the doors are closed?

Go to Step 5

Replace the body control module (BCM). Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
