When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
Customer concern of wind noise from the driver or passenger window due to the window catching the outter part of the weatherstrip.
Verify wind noise from the driver or passenger window. Ensure the window is indexing properly per SI Document ID number 1343992. If the window or windows do not index properly, inspect the wiring in the door and check the door handle input and door latch input on the scan tool. After the window indexing is verified, adjust the door glass. If the top of the window is catching on the weatherstrip, adjust the window tip in per SI Document ID number 1239715. The top of the window may need to be adjusted inward to resolve this concern. If the window catches the weatherstrip towards the rear of the vehicle, the door glass may need to be adjusted forward approximately 2 mm to resolve this concern.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
