Adm Msg - 2003, 2004 SSR Equipped with 4L60E Automatic Transmission, RPO M30, Possible Transmission Overfill Condition

2003-2004 SSRs may have an overfilled transmission oil level from the vehicle assembly plant. The overfill amount is approximately 28 oz, which may result in a transmission buzz noise at idle. The transmission fill process was corrected in production 09-MAR-04. When completing a PDI on one of these vehicles it is important to check the transmission oil level and correct it if necessary.
