Paint Code for the SSR Wheels - kw aluminum appearance code damage GMT368 rim scrape scratch wheel

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.

The wheels on a SSRs built before 3/1/04 VIN break point 4B106233, are painted sterling silver. This color cannot be matched, there is no WA number. SSRs built after March 1, 2004 were built with wheels painted ultra silver, paint code WA140L.

If a 2003 or early 2004 SSR wheel is damaged, all four sterling silver wheels must be repainted ultra silver, paint code WA140L with the owners consent.
