Improper Air Delivery from HVAC after Control Head Replacement - keywords AC A/C calibration condition defogger defroster fan mode operation vent

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When the control head is replaced or battery voltage is removed from the control head, the system will perform a calibration of the actuators automatically. Do not adjust any controls on the HVAC control module while the HVAC control module is self-calibrating. If interrupted, improper air delivery from the HVAC will result.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
