Replacement IPC Displays Outside Temperature on the DIC - keywords ambient center cluster information instrument panel sensor temperature

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

The Replacement IPC will Display OUTSIDE TEMP ( - - - ) on the DIC when scrolling through the list. The OUTSIDE TEMP is a feature used on the 2006 model. The replacement IPC has been superseded to the 2006 IPC.

This is normal operation of the replacement cluster, and no repairs should be made. The new IPC will still have all of the functions that the vehicle was built with. It is advised to scroll past the OUTSIDE TEMP display on the DIC.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
