Growl Noise At Idle To 1000 RPMs With AC On - keywords air compressor condition hose

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Customers may comment of a growl noise at idle with the HVAC Blower Fan on low speed, and the AC compressor operating.

This is characteristic of this vehicle, and no repair attempts should be made to correct this concern

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
