Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the side front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1275563 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fastener that retains the door check link to the pillar.

    4. Object Number: 1275560 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rubber dust boot from the door check link in order to gain access to the door retaining fasteners.

    5. Object Number: 1275564 Size: SH
  5. Remove the door check link retaining fasteners from the door.
  6. Remove the door check link assembly through the door access hole.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1275564 Size: SH
  1. Install the door check link assembly through the door access hole. Ensure that the position arrow is pointing forward.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the door check link retaining fasteners to the door.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the rubber dust boot to the door check link.

    4. Object Number: 1275563 Size: SH
  4. Install the fastener that retains the door check link to the pillar.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  5. Pull back the front water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  6. Install the side front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
