Removal Procedure
  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Lower the endgate.
  3. Remove the endgate. Refer to Endgate Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 955702 Size: SH
  4. Remove the endgate hinge fastener.
  5. Remove the endgate hinge from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the endgate hinge onto the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 955702 Size: SH
  2. Install the endgate hinge fastener.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the endgate hinge fastener to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the endgate. Refer to Endgate Replacement .
  4. Close the endgate.
  5. Close the rear compartment lid.
