Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2005 🢒 SSR 🢒 Body 🢒 Body Rear End 🢒 Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Lower the endgate.
  3. Remove the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Latch Replacement .
  4. Remove the lock cylinder latch plate cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Lock Cylinder Latch Plate Cover Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 1331147 Size: SH
  5. Remove the latch release handle (1) from the lock cylinder latch plate assembly.

    6. Object Number: 1273188 Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the rear compartment lid latch release handle from the vehicle.
  7. Remove the rear compartment lid latch release cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Insert the rear compartment lid latch release cable into the body opening.

    2. Object Number: 1273188 Size: SH
  2. Install the rear compartment lid latch release cable onto the body.
  3. Install the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Latch Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1331147 Size: SH
  4. Connect the rear compartment lid latch release handle (1) to the lock cylinder latch plate assembly.
  5. Pull on the handle to inspect for proper operation.
  6. Install the rear compartment lid lock cylinder latch plate cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Lock Cylinder Latch Plate Cover Replacement .
  7. Close the endgate.
  8. Close the rear compartment lid.
