Removal Procedure
Caution: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver's
door. When operated, the Express Down Feature allows the door window to drop
very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to
Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Raise the window.
- Disconnect the electrical connector(s).
- Disconnect the mirror harness from the retainers.
- Lower the window.
- Remove the nuts from the power mirror studs.
- Remove the power mirror with the harness and gasket.
Installation Procedure
Caution: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver's
door. When operated, the Express Down Feature allows the door window to drop
very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.
- Position the power mirror with the gasket and harness to the door.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the nuts to the power mirror.
Tighten
Tighten the power mirror nuts to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).
- Raise the window.
- Route the harness and secure the harness with the harness retainers.
- Connect the electrical connector(s).
- Install the front door water deflector. Refer to
Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement

- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
