Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1302512 Size: SH
  1. Cycle the folding top open 100 mm (4 in).
  2. Place a protective covering over the interior of the vehicle and the adjacent body panels.
  3. Remove the weatherstrip from the weatherstrip retainer.
  4. Using a grease pencil, mark the location of the weatherstrip retainer to the folding top panel.
  5. Remove the weatherstrip retainer screws.
  6. Remove the weatherstrip retainer from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1302512 Size: SH
  1. Position the weatherstrip retainer to the vehicle.
  2. Install the weatherstrip retainer screws. DO NOT tighten.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Alignment the weatherstrip retainer to the marks on the panel.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the retainer screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the weatherstrip into the retainer.
  5. Remove the protective covering.
  6. Manually close the folding top. Refer to Folding Top Manual Operation .
  7. Inspect the folding top for proper operation. Refer to Power Folding Top Description and Operation .
