Caution: Do not attempt to repair or alter the head impact energy-absorbing material glued to the headliner or to the garnish trims. If the material is damaged, replace the headliner and/or the garnish trim. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1362532  Size: SH
  1. Partially open the roof to reveal the 3 front pushpins (1).
  2. Remove the 3 front pushpins from the headliner.
  3. Flip both of the sunshades forward.
  4. Close the roof to reveal the 2 rear pushpins.

  5. Object Number: 1362534  Size: SH
  6. Remove the right rear pushpin (1) from the headliner. Remove the left rear pushpin.

  7. Object Number: 1362545  Size: SH
  8. Pull down on the outside edges of the headliner to release the headliner from the weatherstrip and the dual lock (1) retaining feature.
  9. Move the headliner rearward to release the rear J-strip (2).
  10. Remove the headliner from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1362545  Size: SH
  1. If necessary, remove the dual lock fasteners from the roof and install them on the headliner (1).
  2. Position the headliner to the roof panel.

  3. Object Number: 1362550  Size: SH
  4. Attach the rear J-strip to the roof panel (1).
  5. Position the headliner above the weatherstrips, ensuring the weatherstrips are fully exposed.
  6. Push upward on the headliner to attach the dual lock fasteners (2).

  7. Object Number: 1362534  Size: SH
  8. Install the left and right rear pushpins (1) to the headliner.
  9. Partially close the roof.

  10. Object Number: 1362532  Size: SH
  11. Install the pushpins (1).
  12. Close the roof completely.
