Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the seat cushion outer trim panel from the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 1200435  Size: SH
  4. Remove the 3 screws that retain the switch bezel to the seat.
  5. Remove the seat switch from the switch bezel by releasing the retaining tabs Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  6. Remove the heated seat switch from the switch bezel by releasing the retaining tabs. Refer to Front Seat Heater Switch Replacement .
  7. Remove the switch bezel from the seat .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the heated seat switch to the switch bezel, verifying that the retaining tabs are fully seated. Refer to Front Seat Heater Switch Replacement .
  2. Install the seat switch to the switch bezel, verifying that the retaining tabs are fully seated. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 1200435  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the switch bezel to the seat with the 3 screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the seat switch bezel screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  6. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel to the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
