05 Chevrolet SSR Incorrect Auxiliary Gauge Package or Gauges Are Inoperative - kw 04-00-89-018 accessory air EGR fuel GMT368 information part RPA temperature torque transmission

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.

The 2005 SSR Auxiliary Gauge Package includes a Voltmeter, Delivered Torque, and Outside Temperature. Some dealers have been shipped an Auxiliary Gauge Package that has a Voltmeter, Instantaneous Fuel Consumption, and Transmission Oil Temperature gauge. These gauges are for the 2003 - 2004 SSR and are not compatible with the 2005 SSR.

Dealers should contact SPAC and speak with an RPA Specialist, to have the correct Auxiliary Gauge Package shipped to the dealer. Refer to bulletin 04-00-89-018 for any additional information on how to handle this concern.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
