Removal Procedure
  1. Park vehicle on a clean, flat surface.

    2. Object Number: 1344923 Size: SH
  2. From underneath the vehicle, remove the endgate hinge shield fastener.

    3. Object Number: 1344924 Size: SH
  3. Pull downward to remove the endgate hinge shield from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1344924 Size: SH
  1. Align the endgate hinge shield to the vehicle.
  2. Install the endgate hinge shield to the vehicle.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1344923 Size: SH
  3. Install the endgate hinge shield fastener.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
