Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the wheelhouse liner panel. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1269967 Size: SH
  4. Remove the retainers from the front pickup box side panel brace.

    5. Object Number: 1270488 Size: SH
  5. Remove the front pickup box side panel brace from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1270488 Size: SH
  1. Install the front pickup box side panel brace to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1269967 Size: SH
  2. Install the front pickup box side panel brace retainers.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  3. Install the wheelhouse liner panel. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .
  4. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
