Driver Seat Module (DSM)

Battery Voltage: Displays the voltage of the battery positive supply circuit to the driver seat module.

Ignition Since Current DTC: Displays the number of ignition cycles on/off since the DTC set.

Driver Heated Seat Sw.: Displays On while the switch is in the high or low positions and Off in the off position.

Pass. Heated Seat Sw.: Displays On while the switch is in the high or low positions and Off in the off position.

Horizontal Position Switch: Displays the current status of the seat horizontal adjuster switch forward, backward, or inactive.

Horizontal Motor: Displays the current state of the horizontal motor.

Rear Vertical Position Switch: Displays the current status of the seat rear vertical adjuster switch up, down, or inactive.

Rear Vertical Motor: Displays the current state of the rear vertical motor.

Front Vertical Position Switch: Displays the current status of the seat front vertical adjuster switch up, down, or inactive.

Front Vertical Motor: Displays the current state of the front vertical motor.

Horizontal Lumbar Motor: Displays the current state of the horizontal lumbar motor.

Lumbar Switches: Displays the current status of the seat lumbar switch. The scan tool will display the direction that the lumbar switch is being operated.

Drvr. Seat Heat Sensor: The scan tool displays the voltage level of the seat heat sensor signal circuit to the driver seat module. When the seat is cold the scan tool will display near 5 volts and as the seat temperature rises the signal voltage will decrease to near 0.0 volts.

Psgr. Seat Heat Sensor: The scan tool displays the voltage level of the seat heat sensor signal circuit to the driver seat module. When the seat is cold the scan tool will display near 5 volts and as the seat temperature rises the signal voltage will decrease to near 0.0 volts.

Seat Horizontal Position: Displays 0 to 5 volts for the current position of the seat. When the driver seat is at the rearward stop the volts are near 0. As the driver seat is moved forward the voltage will increase until the forward stop is reached where the voltage will be near 5 volts.

Front Vertical Position: Displays 0 to 5 volts for the current position of the seat. When the front of the driver seat is at the down stop the volts are near 0. As the rear of the driver seat is raised the voltage will increase until the up stop is reached where the voltage will be near 5 volts.

Rear Vertical Position: Displays 0 to 5 volts for the current position of the seat. When the rear of the driver seat is at the down stop the volts are near 0. As the rear of the driver seat is raised the voltage will increase until the up stop is reached where the voltage will be near 5 volts.

Last Memory Recall: Displays the current value in the driver seat module for the last memory button pressed.

Last Memory Set: Displays the current value in the driver seat module for the last memory setting.

Mem 1 Horizontal Value: Displays the current value in the driver seat module for the seat horizontal position when using the memory switch 1 to recall a set position.

Mem 2 Horizontal Value: Displays the current value in the driver seat module for the seat horizontal position when using the memory switch 2 to recall a set position.

Mem 1 Rear Vertical Value: Displays the current value in the driver seat module for the seat rear vertical position when using the memory switch 1 to recall a set position.

Mem 2 Rear Vertical Value: Displays the current value in the driver seat module for the seat rear vertical position when using the memory switch 2 to recall a set position.

Mem 1 Front Vertical Value: Displays the current value in the driver seat module for the seat front vertical position when using the memory switch 1 to recall a set position.

Mem 2 Front Vertical Value: Displays the current value in the driver seat module for the seat front vertical position when using the memory switch 2 to recall a set position.

Julian Date of Build: The scan tool displays the date upon which the driver seat module (DSM) was manufactured.

Manufacture Enable Counter (MEC): The scan tool displays the actual value for the MEC in the DSM. This information is for the assembly plant only.

8 Digit GM Part Number: The scan tool displays the part number assigned to the DSM that is currently in the vehicle.

Year Module Built: The scan tool displays the year upon which the DSM was manufactured.

Software Revision Number: The scan tool displays the version of the software part number in the DSM.

Software Part Number: The scan tool displays the software identification number (ID) in the DSM.
