Driver Seat Module (DSM)
Battery Voltage: Displays the voltage of the battery positive
supply circuit to the driver seat module.
Ignition Since Current DTC: Displays the number of ignition
cycles on/off since the DTC set.
Driver Heated Seat Sw.: Displays On while the switch is in the
high or low positions and Off in the off position.
Pass. Heated Seat Sw.: Displays On while the switch is in the
high or low positions and Off in the off position.
Horizontal Position Switch: Displays the current status of the
seat horizontal adjuster switch forward, backward, or inactive.
Horizontal Motor: Displays the current state of the horizontal
motor.
Rear Vertical Position Switch: Displays the current status of
the seat rear vertical adjuster switch up, down, or inactive.
Rear Vertical Motor: Displays the current state of the rear
vertical motor.
Front Vertical Position Switch: Displays the current status
of the seat front vertical adjuster switch up, down, or inactive.
Front Vertical Motor: Displays the current state of the front
vertical motor.
Horizontal Lumbar Motor: Displays the current state of the horizontal
lumbar motor.
Lumbar Switches: Displays the current status of the seat lumbar
switch. The scan tool will display the direction that the lumbar switch is being operated.
Drvr. Seat Heat Sensor: The scan tool displays the voltage
level of the seat heat sensor signal circuit to the driver seat module. When the seat
is cold the scan tool will display near 5 volts and as the seat temperature rises
the signal voltage will decrease to near 0.0 volts.
Psgr. Seat Heat Sensor: The scan tool displays the voltage
level of the seat heat sensor signal circuit to the driver seat module. When the seat
is cold the scan tool will display near 5 volts and as the seat temperature rises
the signal voltage will decrease to near 0.0 volts.
Seat Horizontal Position: Displays 0 to 5 volts for the current
position of the seat. When the driver seat is at the rearward stop the volts are near
0. As the driver seat is moved forward the voltage will increase until the forward
stop is reached where the voltage will be near 5 volts.
Front Vertical Position: Displays 0 to 5 volts for the current
position of the seat. When the front of the driver seat is at the down stop the volts
are near 0. As the rear of the driver seat is raised the voltage will increase until
the up stop is reached where the voltage will be near 5 volts.
Rear Vertical Position: Displays 0 to 5 volts for the current
position of the seat. When the rear of the driver seat is at the down stop the volts
are near 0. As the rear of the driver seat is raised the voltage will increase until
the up stop is reached where the voltage will be near 5 volts.
