Removal Procedure
- Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement.
- Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the throttle body.
- Remove the throttle body bolts.
- Remove the throttle body and gasket. Discard the gasket.
Installation Procedure
- Install a NEW throttle body gasket into the upper intake manifold.
- Place the throttle body onto the upper intake manifold.
- Install the throttle body bolts.
- Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the throttle body.
- Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
