Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the auxiliary battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
2. Remove the auxiliary battery negative cable ground terminal bolt from the left cylinder head.



3. Remove the auxiliary battery negative cable from the vehicle.

1. Install the auxiliary battery negative cable to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




2. Position the auxiliary battery negative cable ground terminal to the left cylinder head and install the bolt and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
3. Connect the auxiliary battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
