For 1990-2009 cars only
- Drain the fuel from the fuel filter.
- Remove the oil drain plug and gasket, and allow engine oil to drain.
- Discard the oil drain plug gasket.
- Remove the oil filter.
- Remove the engine block coolant plugs, and allow coolant to drain.
| 1.1. | Attach drain tube to fuel filter drain tap. |
| 1.2. | Place open end of drain tube into a suitable container. |
| 1.3. | Open fuel filter drain, and allow fuel to drain. |
| 1.4. | Close fuel filter drain. |
| 1.5. | Remove drain tube. |
| 1.6. | Properly dispose of used fuel. |
