For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the 4th gear shaft from the case.
- Remove the 4 screws from the rear retainer.
- Remove the rear retainer and the adjuster shims.
- Remove the reverse shaft.
- Remove the reverse gear.
- Remove the 2 cages with rollers and spacer.
- Remove the cup and rear bearing race from the gear assembly.
- Slide the gear assembly backward and remove the gear assembly from the case.
- Using a bearing remover, remove the bearing race from the gear assembly.
