Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front end sheet metal diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement .
2. Remove the upper fan shroud bolts. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement .
3. Remove the upper radiator bolts. Refer to Radiator Replacement .
4. Remove the upper condenser bolts. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement .
5. Remove the Charge Air Cooler if equipped. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Replacement
6. Remove The Radiator air baffles.
7. Remove right/left headlamps Headlamp Replacement

Upper Tie Bar Bolts (Qty: 6)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Upper Tie Bar Brace Bolts (Qty: 2)

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
