Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 869705 Size: SH
  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
  2. Remove the belt tensioner bolt.
  3. Remove the belt tensioner.

    4. Ensure that there is a locating pin (1) on the tensioner.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 869705 Size: SH
  1. Install the belt tensioner. Position the locating pin (1) on the tensioner into the hole in the generator bracket.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the belt tensioner bolt and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
  3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
