Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 781979 Size: SH
  1. Loosen the idler pulley bolt.
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
  3. Remove the idler pulley.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 781979 Size: SH
  1. Install the idler pulley.
  2. Install the idler pulley bolt until snug.
  3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Tighten the idler pulley bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
