The transmission control module (TCM) will wakeup from sleep mode when a voltage greater than 5 V is detected on the switched ignition input or accessory/wakeup input. The Body Control Module (BCM) provides voltage to the TCM accessory/wakeup input. After wakeup, the TCM will not go into sleep mode until the accessory/wakeup input and ignition input are less than 5 V.
• | Battery voltage is greater than 9 V and less than 18 V. |
• | Ignition voltage is greater than 5 V. |
• | Engine speed is greater than 200 RPM for 5 seconds. |
This DTC sets when the accessory/wakeup is not active for 60 seconds.
• | The TCM does not request the ECM to illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL). |
• | DTC P2536 is stored in TCM history. |
DTC P2536 is a Type C DTC.
You may have to drive the vehicle in order to experience a condition.
