Use transfer case nuts to secure transfer case to assembly fixture J 45759 .

Transfer Case

Tip
Insert the transfer case and assembly fixture into the bench holding fixture J 3289-20 and secure with pivot pin.

Transfer Case Input Shaft Seal

Procedure

1. Remove the seal using a flat-bladed tool.
2. Install the seal using J 42738 .
