Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement.
2. Remove the front end sheet metal diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement.
3. Remove the front fender rear upper brace. Refer to Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement.
4. Remove the auxiliary battery tray. Refer to Auxiliary Battery Tray Replacement
5. Remove the left hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement.
6. Remove the left hood link. Refer to Hood Link Replacement.
7. Remove the underhood electrical center/junction block. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement.
8. Remove the left wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side.

Left Fender Mounting Bolt (Qty: 6)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Apply threadlock compound to the bolts.

Tighten
30 N·m (22 lb ft)

Left Fender Mounting Nut (Qty: 2)

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Transfer any necessary additional parts as needed.
