  1. Remove the hood latch release handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement .
  2. Remove the left headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
  3. Remove the hood latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement.

Hood Latch Release Cable

Tip

    • Attach mechanics wire to the existing cable to ease the installation of the new cable.
    • Use a trim panel removal tool to help disengage the cable from the retaining points along the body.
