Caution: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module.

Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the inflatable restraint I/P module. Refer to Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the recirculation actuator.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)
