Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1222974 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the intake tube (1).
  2. Disconnect the PCV hose from the cylinder head cover (2).
  3. Disconnect the PCV hose from the lower intake manifold (3).
  4. Remove the PCV hose with valve (4).

    5. Object Number: 1222975 Size: SH
  5. Remove the PCV valve (1).
  6. Inspect the tube for crack, inflation or damage.

    7. Important: When blowing up the valve by mouth, air should be ventilated only in the direction of the arrow.

  7. Inspect the PCV valve orifice for damage.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1222974 Size: SH
  1. Install the PCV valve on to the PCV hose.
  2. Install the PCV hose to the lower intake manifold (3).
  3. Install the PCV hose to the cylinder head cover (2).
  4. Install the PCV hose to the intake tube (1).
