Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1224775 Size: SH
  1. Remove the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement .
  2. Remove the screws after removing the upper caps (1).
  3. Remove the retaining screw on the air inlet grille (3).
  4. Take off the air inlet grille (2).

    5. Object Number: 1224803 Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolts (1) on the top of the fender.

    6. Object Number: 1224776 Size: SH
  6. Remove the hood hinge bolts (1).
  7. Remove the hood hinge (2).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1224778 Size: SH
  1. Install the hood hinge with the bolts.
  2. Install the bolts along the top of the fender.
  3. Install the air inlet grille with the screws and the caps.
  4. Install the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement .
