Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1225408 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front passenger side headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  2. Loosen the rear bracket adjusting bolt (1).
  3. Loosen the bolt (2).

    4. Object Number: 1225409 Size: SH
  4. Loosen the front bracket adjusting bolts (2).
  5. Push the pump forward (1) and remove the drive belt pump.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1225411 Size: SH
  1. Install the pump drive belt.
  2. Install the front bracket adjusting bolt (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front bracket adjusting bolt to 18-22 N·m (13-16 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear bracket adjusting bolt (3).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear bracket adjusting bolt to 20-24 N·m (15-18 lb ft).

  4. Install the drive belt pump (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the power steering pump bolt to 20-24 N·m (15-18 lb ft).

  5. Install the front passenger side headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
