Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1224960 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Remove the pressure switch.
  3. Plug the opening in the steering pump.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1224963 Size: SH
  1. Install the pressure switch (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the pressure switch to 17-23 N·m (13-17 lb ft).

  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Inspect for leaks. If there are leaks, correct the cause of the leaks and bleed the system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
