Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1220781 Size: SH
  1. Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  2. Remove the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  3. Separate the wiper linkage (1) from the wiper motor.

    4. Object Number: 1220796 Size: SH
  4. Remove the wiper linkage nuts (2).
  5. Remove the wiper linkage (1).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1220797 Size: SH
  1. Install the wiper linkage with the wiper linkage nuts (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the wiper linkage nuts to 1.5-2 N·m (13-18 lb in).

  2. Install the wiper motor linkage ball.
  3. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  4. Install the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
