Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1221032 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the ashtray from the ashtray housing.
  3. Remove the cigar lighter from the cigar lighter housing.

    4. Object Number: 1221034 Size: SH

    Caution: The ashtray housing may have sharp edges. Care should be taken to avoid personal injury when removing the ashtray.

  4. Push out the cigar lighter housing.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
  6. Remove the cigar lighter housing (2) from the cigar lighter retainer.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1221036 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the cigar lighter housing to the cigar lighter retainer.
  3. Install the cigar lighter in the cigar lighter housing.
  4. Install the ashtray.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
