Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1223308 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor electrical connector (1).
  3. Disconnect the harness holder (2).

    4. Object Number: 1230445 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolt (1) and remove the rear wheel speed sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1230447 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear wheel speed sensor to the rear backing plate. Secure it with the bolt (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear wheel speed sensor bolt to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

  2. Connect the harness holder.
  3. Connect the rear wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
