Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1223552 Size: SH
  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement in Bumpers.
  3. Disconnect the dual cut switch connector (2).
  4. Remove the flange nuts (1).
  5. Remove the bracket bolt (4).
  6. Discard the O-ring (3).
  7. Remove the receiver dryer.

  8. With the receiver dryer covered, vise the receiver dryer (1).
  9. Remove the dual cut switch (2).
  10. Discard the O-ring (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1223555 Size: SH
  1. Install the new O-ring.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the dual cut switch (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the dual cut switch to 13 N·m (115 lb in).

  3. Install the new receiver dryer O-rings.
  4. Install the bracket bolt (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bracket bolt to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  5. Install the receiver dryer flange nuts (1).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the receiver dryer flange nut to 14 N·m (10.5 lb ft).

  6. Connect the dual cut switch connector.
  7. Install the receiver dryer.
  8. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement in Bumpers.
  9. Evacuate and recharge the system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
